Marketing, Tourism Services and International Business

The mission of the department is to meet the training requirements of future economists, specialized in fields such as marketing, business administration in trade, tourism, services and international business, in correlation with the labour needs of economic agents working in these fields.
The department coordinates six study programmes, of which three bachelor’s degree programmes (Marketing / Economics of Trade in Tourism and Services / International Business) and three master’s degree programmes (Marketing Policies and Strategies / Business Administration in Tourism / International Economic Relations) which ensures the continuity of undergraduate programmes in the second cycle of university studies.
Through its specialized team in areas such as marketing, tourism, trade, services, international business, the department conducts market research and provides business consulting in its areas of competence. In addition, it with other university departments to undertake interdisciplinary research.
The staff consists of 21 professors, a scientific researcher and a secretary. All members of the teaching staff hold the scientific title of doctor. In 2017 there were 5 professors, 12 associate professors and 4 lecturers in the department.
